Duties of an MRO:
- Review chain of custody forms for accuracy and completeness.
- Consultation with employee/applicants who test positive to determine if prescription drugs or relevant biomedical factors have caused a laboratory positive test.
- Consultation with laboratory certifying scientists and Adjudication of Non-negative tests.
According to an article form the Society for Human Resources, 96% of employers now (versus 10 years ago) use background checks, with nearly as many small- and medium-sized employers utilizing them as large employers.
A toxicological analysis can be done to various kinds of samples for drugs and alcohol (oral fluid/saliva, urine, hair). Fleetscreen utilizes the labs with the most up to date technology in forensic testing.
